Wes Smith is an in-demand musician who has performed with world famous personalities including Stevie Wonder, Prince, Justin Timberlake, Queen Latifa, Megan Trainor, Aloe Blacc, Soul legend Booker T Jones and Jazz legend Poncho Sanchez. He has recorded for top artists including Pharrell Williams, Robin Thicke, Jennifer Lopez, Macy Gray and Zendaya.
In 2013, he played at the White House in Booker T Jones' band with President Obama and the First Lady in attendance. In 2014, he was featured in the finale of the Academy Award winning feature film, 'Whiplash'. He performs as a leader and sideman throughout the United States as well as abroad.
Wes holds his Master's in Jazz Studies from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's in Music from the prestigious Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York.
